Victoria has a strong desire to keep taxes as low as possible, allowing more families to live and grow in Moorestown. As a software instructor at a local company, she hopes to use her tech savvy to help bring Moorestown’s infrastructure solidly into the 21st century. Victoria is a member of the Historical Society of Moorestown, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"historical-society-of-moorestown"} --> and is a parishioner at

Victoria has my vote! Marsia's article a few weeks ago convinced me she's the real deal.

I met her and Phil Garwood when they knocked on my door with Pete Miller from the republican club. Theyve got my vote , hope they come around again so I can get one of those lawn signs Ive been seeing around !

I would love to have someone with an education background on Town Council. Our schools are great, but with recent budget cuts we need to have people who understand how education works. I think if our town elects Ms. Napolitano to Town Council and Sheryl Sawin to Board of Education, we would be much better off and would have real advocates for our schools. I would hope that if the two of them win they work together, would be great to see a Republican and a Democrat with education credentials working together!

Being brand new to town, I have the unique experience of entering this election with a pretty fresh perspective. I know people who have given me their two cents, some good and some bad on the 6 people running for council. I have to say, I've been impressed by what I've seen so far. Right now, I am voting for Napolitano and Garwood, and currently I am leaning towards Greg Newcomer for my third vote. I just like what I am seeing from those three so far. As for Napolitano, I think having someone younger and at a different part in their life than the other 5 would be a cool perspective to have on council, I feel like she could speak on my behalf. Our town is lucky to have such great options running with such diverse backgrounds.
Ex-Republican September 18, 2012 at 01:35 PM
In Marsia's article, she could not answer any questions about the liquor issue or town hall.
This Is Our Town September 18, 2012 at 01:49 PM
"Town hall needs to be back in the center of town.So does the police department." - Victoria Napolitano, 8/27/12 (http://moorestown.patch.com/articles/what-makes-victoria-run-by-marsia-mason) And she sat down with Marsia a matter of days after the liquor ruling came down. I would be more concerned if she had an immediate opinion about the ruling (and that's all she was asked about, if you read the article above - she was asked about the RULING.)

Small businesses like mine need leaders like Garwood, Napolitano, and Palko!
Ex-Republican September 18, 2012 at 02:36 PM
So apparently Victoria is against the current plan, which does not have the police at the town center.
Democrats for "GNP" September 18, 2012 at 02:58 PM
Victoria Napolitano is a fresh voice for a new tomorrow who will stand for ALL of Moorestown! She gets it! "GNP" stands with us! They CARE about the Recreation Center! They speak for ALL the people in our town! Vote for "GNP"!

I wonder why Ms. Victoria Napolitano is not running for school board where her talents could be better used. No sure she is even qualified to run for town council. Seems very young and inexperienced. I will not vote for her. No real skill set for the job.
Bobby29 September 18, 2012 at 03:07 PM
She has my vote! Very nice young lady!
This Is Our Town September 18, 2012 at 03:08 PM
Oh please, go back to Wonderland.
Bookworm Gal September 18, 2012 at 03:10 PM
That's just not fair. We NEED a perspective of someone who is educated in the world of education! We have the best school system in South Jersey, and it would be helpful to have someone with the tools to help keep us in the technology age. I welcome her perspective and her youth to the Council. We need it.
Karen September 18, 2012 at 03:12 PM
Go Victoria!
Bobby29 September 18, 2012 at 03:13 PM
I am one to think that her youth could serve well on town council. I don't get why people automatically shoot down younger candidates just based off their age. Why don't people actually take the time to get to know her and what she believes? That is what makes a bad voter in my opinion.
Soccer Mom September 18, 2012 at 03:16 PM
Agreed with Bookworm Gal. Alice in Wonderland, you need to get a clue. Youth is a positive in this day and age. Qualifications? Just have to be over 18. And she is not only way past 18, she is clearly well-educated, married, and at a point in her life where she has handled a household budget. This is America. People like you disgust me, you disqualify people on the dumbest reasons. You make yourself and anyone like you sound like a bunch of classless bullies. Disqualifying someone due to age, race, gender, or background is foolish.
Soccer Mom September 18, 2012 at 03:17 PM
Thank you for stepping up to run for a thankless job. No matter how nasty people are, please keep fighting for this community. It makes me so happy to see someone step up to make a difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
American Woman September 18, 2012 at 03:19 PM
I think anyone who has paid bills and worked their way through undergrad and grad schools has a skill set.
American Woman September 18, 2012 at 03:20 PM
You have my vote. Good luck!
Red Alert September 18, 2012 at 03:23 PM
Ex-Republican, none of the 6 candidates out there right now have control over the current plan. Even if they win, contracts will have been awarded. You are beating a dead horse. Move on and find something better to do with your time.
Red Alert September 18, 2012 at 03:26 PM
Inexperienced? Interesting. Tell me, what experience to any of the other 5 candidates have that she does not in running a town? None of them have run a town. None of them have handled a municipal budget. Your argument is flawed. They all have different life experiences, so why not focus on policy and what this candidate has to say?
Bruce Walsh September 18, 2012 at 03:44 PM
She's got my vote.
Joe Johnson September 18, 2012 at 04:46 PM
Garwood, Napolitano, and Palko make the most sense for our town. They fit our values, they match our ideology, and they are definitely the best team for the job. They all have my vote.
G.N. September 18, 2012 at 11:04 PM
Victoria should be proud of the race she is running. She is truly an outstanding citizen looking to better her town and should be commended.

Battleground of polls... Look out for where the wild turkeys trot in the next 2 weeks. that could show the early signs of where they think this campaign may be going. After all, the Harvest Moon will be shining on the light lost by our daylight hours. Will they trot on Lenola? It all depends.
