Actor Eric Martinez Speaks to High School Students About Bullying

He visited Moorestown High School as part of "Color for Causes" week.

Moorestown High School learned about bullying from a victim who overcame his own personal bullies and landed on TV.

Eric Martinez, who has starred in TV shows on ABC, USA and the SyFy channel, visited students as part of Color for Causes," a weeklong fundraising event  the Burlington County Times reports.

During the week, students raise money for various local organizations, including the emergency squad and the library.

Martinez grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and related stories of being stuffed into trashcans, gym bags and lockers. He explained that while the bullies thought it was funny, it intensified the troubles he was experiencing at home, and was "tearing him up inside."
