Antebellum/Civil War Architecture lecture

A sizeable number of buildings in the town center represent architecture from 1800–1865, the end of the Civil War. This was a time of growth and prosperity throughout the country, state, and town. What Moorestown looked like between the Revolutionary War and the end of the Civil War is represented by this town’s architecture from this period.

All lectures and walking tours are free and open to the public. Call 856-235-6488, or visit www.perkinscenter.org to reserve your space in any or all of the lectures and tours. Lectures and tours are presented by Dr. Fred Young of Moorestown. Lectures will be held at Perkins Center, Moorestown and both walking tours will meet in front of the Moorestown Community House, 16 East Main Street.
