Writing Workshop with Camille DeAngelis

Join nationally known local author Camille DeAngelis for a creative writing workshop in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 

Starting with the conviction that storytelling is a universal impulse- that everyone can and should, write- We will first work with some fun, no-pressure writing prompts.  We will talk about tapping into our creativity and forming strategies for getting and organizing ideas with an eye towards sharing stories written outside of class.  We will also read passages from our favorite novels to explore theme, character, plot and structure.

Enthusiastic writers of all ages and experience levels are welcome.  Whether you’ve always wanted to write, you are already writing but you’d like a bit of camaraderie and encouragement, or you would like to set down on paper some interesting stories from your own life for posterity, this workshop will be a really fun way to jump-start your creativity!
