Moorestown Gives Interim Superintendent Permanent Position
Timothy J. Rehm will serve a three-year term beginning July 1.
The Moorestown School District has taken the interim tag off Timothy J. Rehm's job title.
The Board of Education appointed Rehm to a three-year term this week, according to an open letter posted on the district's website. The term takes effect July 1.
Rehm will be paid the maximum amount allowed for a K-12 school district at $165,000, annually, according to the Burlington County Times. He will also make $2,500 for the high school, with merit bonuses possible.
Rehm had been the Acting Superintendent since Feb. 5. Prior to that, he was the Superintendent for the Cornwall Central School District in New York. He was the Superintendent in that district for nine years.
He was also an Elementary and Middle School Principal in both the Cornwall Central School District and the Brooklyn School District. He began his career in education as a junior high school teacher of Mathematics, Language Arts, and Physical Education.
