New Baker Principal Named

Shelly Rowe to take reins at elementary school.

Shelly Rowe, the 6-12 Supervisor of Mathematics, has been named the Baker School principal.

Rowe will replace Dave Tate, who will become director of special services, effective July 1.

“The recommendation to appoint Shelly Rowe is based on the unanimous decision of the search team at Baker which included staff, parents, and administrators,” Superintendent John Bach said in a statement. “Mrs. Rowe brings over a decade of administrative experience to her new post as the Baker School principal. As a mathematician, her leadership will have a value added dimension for Baker. In addition to her pedagogical expertise, Mrs. Shelly Rowe brings enthusiasm, energy, and a commitment to work collaboratively with the Baker community.”
