Hard to believe we finally get some local HS sports results and it was borrowed from the cherry hill patch....and the game was played in moorestown. I'm sure a lot of people are enjoying all of the political "reporting" and the what you missed at council meeting stuf but this ios a community and our kids are working very hard in sports so let's show them a little love and do a better job of reporting what they are doing.

Wow. Sports, finally. Looks like Rob Scott has some stiff competition from the new guy at the Cherry Hill Patch. Moorestown Patch used to be much more hyper focused on everything in town from high school sports to gas prices. Why isnt that the case now?

Kristi, Since a few people have questioned the lack of sports reporting on the site, I guess it's necessary to explain why it's dropped off. Believe me when I say I'd sincerely love to provide coverage for many Moorestown sports—from the high school to Moorestown Friends to the youth sports leagues. The reality is that Patch is, in many ways, a one-man show, and the news (not to mention the multitude of other job responsibilities that fall on my shoulders, which readers never see) keeps me plenty busy. It's not the ideal situation, but it is what it is and I hope readers can understand. You may notice some sports coverage on other Patch sites. In many cases, that coverage is being provided by a freelance sports editor or writer. I don't have one of those anymore. That said, I encourage parents, spectators and students to send me photos and/or scores, and any other updates, from the various sporting events around town. I am more than happy to use them. Email what you have to rob.scott@patch.com and I'll see that it gets published. And by the way Kristi, just for clarification, I'm not in competition with the Cherry Hill Patch editor. We're all part of the same team here in South Jersey.
