School Board Candidates Forum Tonight

The candidates hoping to score a seat on the Moorestown Board of Education will address voters Thursday night.

Meet the contenders for Moorestown’s board of education tonight, Oct. 18, at a candidates’ night.

The League of Women Voters of Burlington County is holding the forum at 7:30 p.m. at William Allen Middle School.

Each candidate will make an opening statement and take questions from the audience before making a closing statement. A League of Women Voters representative will moderate the evening.

Moorestown’s school board has three open seats and six candidates vying for them, in one of the county’s largest races. This is the first time the board election will take place in November—the race was previously held in April. The school board voted against moving the race, but the township council overrode the board.
