The holiday season is quickly approaching. Wine is always a great gift. Here is an opportunity to sample three excellent wines from Wegman's own JSW Wine & Spirits shop while supporting the Historical Society of Moorestown's latest project, replacement of old knob and tube electrical wiring.  The Historical Society is pleased to announce that delicious hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Moorestown's Al Dente restaurant.  

The fund raiser takes place on November 4th, Candlelight Night. If you plan to visit the shops on Main Street, please stop by 12 High Street, just off Main Street in the center of town. This is the home of the beautiful Smith-Cadbury Mansion, Moorestown's museum of early history and material culture.

This is a family friendly event. Children are welcome free of charge. Students from Moorestown High School will coordinate a small craft project and provide a snack upstairs in the antique toy room,while adults enjoy a relaxing and educational evening discovering new wines.

Tickets are $15 per adult ($10 tax-deductible). Checks, made payable to the 'Historical Society of Moorestown' , can be mailed to Patti DelDuca, 7 Cambridge Court  Moorestown, NJ 08057 Your reservation will be held at the door. Located at 12 High St., the Historical Society of Moorestown is responsible for preserving the legacy of Moorestown. As a community service, the Historical Society prepares a pamphlet marking historical places in and around Moorestown. It also publishes a newsletter called The Front Porch. You may participate by becoming a member.
