Kids, Take Your Game to the Next Level

MHS coaches will be offering summer camps to help kids with their sports fundamentals.

Moorestown Basketball Academy

  • When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 20-23
  • Where:
  • Ages: Girls 7-14
  • Cost: $200
  • Highlights: Campers will learn passing, ball handling, shooting, rebounding, offensive moves, defense, lay-ups, screens and agility, T-shirt.

Shawn Anstey’s Basketball Academy

  • When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 20-23; 9 a.m.-3p.m. July 25-28; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 8-11
  • Where:
  • Ages: 7-15

  • Highlights: Individual skill improvements, 5-on-5 games, 1-on-1 games, free throw shooting competition, free throw shooting competition, T-shirt, awards.

  • Ages: 5-15

  • Highlights: T-shirt and soccer ball for every camper; awards; individual and small group instruction; daily scrimmages

Rising Stars Tri-County Field Hockey Camp

  • When: 8:30-11:30 a.m. July 18-21
  • Where:
  • Ages: Grades K-12
  • Cost: $125
  • Highlights: Competitive play and learning through the development of basic skills needed to play field hockey; conditioning and field hockey instruction at all levels; players work on improving their skills, including stick work, dodges, tackles, positioning and overall game sense; goal keeper instruction.

World Athlete Track Academy

  • When: July 5-9; July 11-15; July 18-22; July 25-29; Aug. 1-5; Day Camps 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; Half Day Mini Camp 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Ages: Pre-kindergarten-12 grade track and field camps; 6-12 grade pole vault and throw mini camps; 4-12 grade distance camp
  • Cost: Day camp $279 per week; mini camp $149 per week; extended camps also available
  • Highlights: Learn track and field basics; advanced athletes are provided a more intensive training program; track and field campers will learn sprinting, hurdling, jumping, relays, weight training and conditioning. Skills are taught through drills, team practices and lectures. Fee also includes T-shirt and World Track Athlete meet entry fee.
