Moorestown 10U Team Goes for 3rd Straight District Title

It's time to play ball on the new Pryor Park turf field complex with the 10U Ripken baseball tournament.

Update: Friday's rainstorm washed out the tournament's opening round. Games will now be played on Saturday, with matchups at 9 and 11:30 a.m. and 2 and 5 p.m.

Moorestown isn’t just hosting the 10U baseball district tournament this weekend—the township’s team also is playing for a possible third-straight title.

If it happens, it would be the first time in Moorestown, says Adam Gerber, 10U district manager.

The District 4 10U Ripken Tournament starts Friday evening at Pryor Park’s new turf field complex.

First-round matchups are:

Moorestown vs. Delran, Friday at 6 p.m.

Cherry Hill National vs. Riverfront, Friday at 6 p.m.

Cherry Hill Youth Athletic Association vs. Cinnaminson, Friday at 8:30 p.m.

Pennsauken vs. Mount Laurel, Friday at 8:30 p.m.

The tournament continues until the championship game on July 3 at 6 p.m.
