Moorestown Boys Lacrosse Team Captures South Jersey Title

The Moorestown High School boys lacrosse team captured the South Jersey Group III title with a 10-9 win over Shawnee over the weekend, nj.com reports.

Mike Katz scored the game-winning goal. He had a total of three goals, according to the report.

The Quakers entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed, and defeated Brick, 23-1, to open the competition. They followed that win with a 14-2 over West Windsor South and a 10-6 win over Clearview before the South Jersey final.

Moorestown will play Ridgewood for the state title on Wednesday.
