Moorestown Football Star Signs With Jacksonville Jaguars

Record-setting former Quakers back enters fourth year in NFL with new team.

Back in April, Moorestown Patch reported on what former Moorestown High School running back Albert Young—who spent three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings— while he waited out the NFL lockout.

"While this thing gets worked out all I can really do is train and continue to prepare. I can't worry about it right now. I just have to go about my work," he said.

Young, the all-time leading rusher in South Jersey history with 5,411 yards, recently signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to the Burlington County Times.

"I have a resume, a body of work that I can point to when it comes time to find a good situation for me when we start back up," Young told Patch in April. "Look, I'm really very fortunate. I'm able to make a living and pay my bills playing a game that I've loved ever since I was a little kid, even before I put the pads on."
