Moorestown Kings Claim Championship

After an undefeated regular season, the Kings defeat the Maple Leafs in OT to claim the Mighty Mites Championship.

The Kings, part of the eight-team Moorestown Youth Street Hockey Association (MYSHA), capped off an undefeated season (13-0-1) with an exciting overtime win (2-1) over the Maple Leafs to win the MYSHA Mighty Mite Championship.

The Kings defeated every team in the league, including four wins over the Maple Leafs, on the way to one of the best seasons in memory. The championship game was typical of a Kings-Maple Leafs matchup, low scoring and tense.

Outstanding goaltending by the Kings' Zach Broder and defense by Timmy Gannon, Dylan Lee, Eric Schmoll and Grayson Bunting kept the game tied at 1 through regulation.
