Moorestown Swim Teams Set For The Playoffs

The boys were seeded third and the girls were seeded fourth.

The Moorestown High School boys and girls swim teams begin their quests for championships at home next week.

The boys’ team was seeded third in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group B tournament, according to unofficial matchups posted on nj.com this week.

The Quakers host No. 6 Haddon Township in the first round. All first round meets must be completed by Feb. 6. The winner meets the winner of the meet between No. 2 Haddonfield and No. 7 Middle Township.

Mainland was seeded No. 1 and will host No. 8 Central Regional in the first round. No. 4 Ocean City and No. 5 Woodstown round out the field.

The girls’ team was seeded No. 4 and will host No. 5 Central Regional in the first round, according to nj.com. The winner faces either No. 1 Haddonfield or No. 8 Middle Township.

Ocean City was seeded No. 2 and hosts No. 7 Oakcrest. No. 3 Mainland and No. 6 GCIT round out the field.
