Moorestown to Face Marlton in Cal Ripken Final
Moorestown must win twice to win the tournament, according to the Burlington County Times.
The Moorestown 11-year-old Cal Ripken baseball team overcame a long-time hurdle on Saturday, and will now have to erase the memory of a recent defeat.
Moorestown defeated Washington Township, 6-3, in the final game of the loser's bracket at the Cal Ripken 50/70 state tournament on Saturday, the Burlington County Times reports.
Now, Moorestown must defeat Marlton twice to win the tournament. It was a loss to Marlton that sent Mooresotwn into the loser's bracket to begin with, according to the report.
