Moorestown U-11 Comets Win Eastern Division

The girls beat rival Winslow Township in a grudge match Saturday.

The Moorestown U-11 Comets, coached by Wayne Slaughter and Mark Magda, claimed the Eastern Division crown Saturday, Nov. 17, in a grudge match against Winslow Township, the only team to beat the Comets all season.

The Moorestown girls finished with a record of 8-1-1. 

The game-winning goal was scored by Ciara Imhotep.
