Moorestown's Marshall Saponaro Hits Home Run During Buddy Ball Event
Marshall Sapnaro participated in the event for special needs children over the weekend.
A Moorestown native hit it out of the park this weekend.
With the Philly Phanatic looking on, Moorestown’s Marshall Saponaro hit a home run while playing in the Buddy Ball Baseball Program for special needs kids at Hartfords Crossings Park in Medford on Sunday.
The Phanatic was in attendance, and participants were paired with a Shawnee High School baseball player who acted as their “buddy.” Kids received t-shirts, hats and pretzels, among other items.
