Patch: What is it like to be a senior leader?
Dougherty: It's an honor and I take it very seriously, but also try to enjoy it every day.

Patch: What or who got you so interested in field hockey?
Dougherty: My sister Jenna, who is two years older and loved to play. She helped me learn the game.

Patch: What is so enjoyable about field hockey for you?
Dougherty: The team camaraderie is what I like the most, and I have made really good friends on the team over the years.

Patch: If there was one thing you could teach the younger players on the team before the season is over, what would it be?
Dougherty: It would be for them to understand the Moorestown tradition of field hockey and to be able to carry that on to the next class.

Patch: What has been the highlight of your field hockey career so far?
Dougherty: Playing varsity with my sister when I was a sophomore and she was a senior captain.

Patch: What is the most important thing the coaching staff has taught you in your time on the squad?
Dougherty: They taught me to play with heart and to play for your teammates.

Patch: What have you learned from your teammates while playing field hockey for Moorestown?
Dougherty: To support each other and realize there is a time for hard work and a time to have fun.

Patch: What motivates you to succeed in each game?
Dougherty: The thought of reading the newspaper headlines "Moorestown Field Hockey Wins Group 3 State Championship!"

Patch: Which school has been your biggest rival throughout your varsity career?
Dougherty: Shawnee. We always look at them as one of our toughest competitors.
