This Week in Quakers Sports
Football opens its home schedule this Friday against Seneca while Field Hockey looks to pick up its first win this week.
Each week we will be posting the schedules for the fall sports teams that call Moorestown home. This week features a divisional game for football against Seneca, boys' soccer against local rival Delran, girls' volleyball against Shawnee, and girls' soccer against Rancocas Valley to name a few. The complete schedule for the week is listed below.
Football
9/16 (7 p.m.) versus Seneca

Moorestown is coming off a strong 28-12 win over division opponent Paul VI in the season opener. The Quakers, looking to improve to 2-0, will host Seneca in the 2011 home opener.
Boys' Soccer

9/13 (3:45 p.m.) at Delran
9/15 (3:45 p.m.) at Burlington Township
Boys' soccer opened the season with a 2-1 win over Cinnaminson on Friday and will look to take two from Delran and Burlington Township this week.
Girls' Soccer
9/13 (3:45 p.m.) at Pennington
9/15 (3:45 p.m.) versus Burlington Township
This past Saturday was the home and season opener for girls' soccer as they defeated Hunterdon Central 2-0. The team travels to Pennington early in the week and then returns home for a game against Burlington Township on Thursday.
Field Hockey
9/12 (3:45 p.m.) versus Delran
9/16 (3:45 p.m.) at Burlington Township
9/17 (1 p.m.) at Peddie School
Field hockey looks to rebound this week from an 0-2 start to the season. The Quakers suffered losses to Washington Township and Shawnee by a combined score of 7-3.
Girls' Tennis
9/14 (3:45 p.m.) at Eastern
9/15 (3:45 p.m.) at Pemberton
The girls' tennis team is off to an incredibly fast start, winning their first four matches of the season against Northern Burlington, Delran, Cinnaminson and the Peddie School.
Girls' Volleyball
9/12 (3:45 p.m.) at Camden County Tech
9/13 (3:45 p.m.) at Camden Academy Charter
9/14 (3:45 p.m.) versus Shawnee
9/16 (3:45 p.m.) at Paul VI
Girls' volleyball took down Kingsway Regional in the 2011 season opener by a score of 2-0 and then knocked off Cherry Hill West to grab two wins right out of the shoot.
