This Week in Quakers Sports
Football looks to grab its third win of the season after a tough loss Friday night while field hockey will look to continue its scoring onslaught against Rancocas Valley.
Each week Moorestown Patch will post the schedules for the fall sports teams that call Moorestown home. This week, football travels to Williamstown, boys’ soccer has just one game, girls’ soccer faces rival Cinnaminson, field hockey has only one game girls’ tennis has a loaded schedule, girls’ volleyball has two home games and cross-country has the Shore Invitational.

Boys’ Soccer:
9/27 (6:30 p.m.) versus Maple Shade
Boys’ soccer looks to knock off Maple Shade after going 2-1 last week with wins against Rancocas Valley and Northern Burlington.
Girls’ Soccer:
9/27 (3:45 p.m.) at Maple Shade
9/30 (6:30 p.m.) versus Cinnaminson
After a rain-shortened 2-0 week, girls’ soccer looks to continue winning when they travel to Maple Shade on Tuesday.
Field Hockey:
9/28 (3:45 p.m.) versus Rancocas Valley
After a 3-0 week in which the Quakers outscored their opponents 21-1, the Quakers have only one game on the docket for this week.
Girls’ Tennis:
9/26 (3:45 p.m.) versus Delran
9/27 (3:45 p.m.) versus Haddonfield
9/28 (2:15 p.m.) versus Lawrenceville
9/30 (3:45 p.m.) versus Moorestown Friends
After a 2-0 week, girls’ tennis has two tough matches against Haddonfield and Lawrenceville this week, with all four of their matches at home.
Girls’ Volleyball:
9/27 (5:15 p.m.) versus Eastern
9/28 (5:15 p.m.) versus Washington Township
10/1 (8 a.m.) Burlington County Open
Girls’ volleyball has two tough games against Eastern and Washington Township this week but both will be at home.
Boys’ Cross-Country:
9/27 (4 p.m.) Batch Meet at Westhampton
10/1 (TBA) at Shore Invitational
Girls’ Cross-Country:
9/27 (4:15 p.m.) Batch Meet at Westhampton
10/1 (TBA) at Shore Invitational
Both the boys and girls’ cross-country teams will be traveling to Westhampton for a batch meet this week before participating in the Shore Invitational.
