This Week in Quakers Sports

Football looks to improve to 3-0, while Tennis tries to improve upon its 8-1 record to open the season.

Each week we will be posting the schedules for the fall sports teams that call Moorestown home. This week football plays host to Timber Creek, boys’ soccer has two home games, girls’ soccer is on the road for three games, field hockey hosts Bordentown, tennis has a packed week, volleyball has five games and boys’ cross-country is hosting a batch meet.

Football:

9/23 (7 p.m.) versus Timber Creek

Moorestown looks to advance its record to 3-0 against Timber Creek Friday night. The Quakers defeated Seneca 38-24 last Friday night at home.

Boys’ Soccer:

9/21 (6:30 p.m.) versus Northern Burlington

9/24 (11 a.m.) at Clearview

Soccer looks to get back in the win column after falling to Delran and Burlington Township last week.

Girls’ Soccer:

9/19 (3:45 p.m.) at Rancocas Valley

9/21 (3:45 p.m.) at Northern Burlington

9/23 (3:30 p.m.) at Holy Cross

After a win over Burlington Township last week, the Quakers look to knock off local rivals in three road games this week.

Field Hockey:

9/19 (3:45 p.m.) at Bordentown

9/21 (3:45 p.m.) versus Northern Burlington

9/23 (3:45 p.m.) versus Pemberton

After defeating Delran and Burlington Township, the Quakers lost a tough 2-1 game to the Peddie School last week and will look to get back into the win column this week.

Girls’ Tennis:

9/19 (3:45 p.m.) versus Rancocas Valley

9/20 (3:45 p.m.) at Willingboro

9/22 (TBA) at Burlington County Open

9/23 (TBA) at Burlington County Open

Tennis suffered its first loss on Sunday in the final round of the 30th Moorestown Classic and will look to improve its 8-1 record this week.

Girls’ Volleyball:

9/19 (5:15 p.m.) versus Cherokee

9/21 (5 p.m.) at Northern Burlington

9/23 (5:15 p.m.) versus Seneca

9/24 (9 a.m.) versus Cherry Hill East (Quad)

9/24 (11:30 a.m.) versus Hunterdon Central

Volleyball is coming off a 2-1 win over Southern Regional on Saturday and will have a packed schedule with five games this week.

Boys’ Cross-Country:

9/20 (3:30 p.m.) at Moorestown (Batch Meet)

Girls’ Cross-Country:

9/20 (3:30 p.m.) at Moorestown (Batch Meet)
