Food Drive Extended, Drop-Offs in Moorestown, Mount Laurel

The demand is still very high, according to officials.

A food drive being held this month to help out local pantries has been extended since the demand is still high, according to Burlington County officials.

Summer is historically a slow month for food donations.

"Now is the time to donate to local food banks. Many people simply do not think about folks being hungry during the summer months, since food drives are traditionally held during the winter,” said Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien.
