Old Shoes Taking Up Space in Your House?

Ditch your old kicks and give them to someone who really needs them through the Moorestown Library's latest shoe drive.

If the back of your closet is overflowing with piles of shoes you’ve haven’t worn in years, or if your children continually outgrow their shoes before they wear them out, the Moorestown Library has the perfect solution for cleaning out your closet and doing a good deed all at the same time. The library is hosting a shoe drive to collect new and gently used shoes in all styles and sizes for men, women and children in need. In 2010, Moorestown residents donated 576 pairs of shoes in a library shoe drive, and The Friends of the Library sent them to Soles for Souls, an organization that provides shoes for those in need all over the world.
