MFS Defends Title in County Competition
The Friends School seeks to extend its Consumer Bowl winning streak to three at the annual competition this week.
Two-time champ Moorestown Friends School (MFS) will defend its Burlington County Consumer Bowl title this week when the competition kicks off Tuesday. If it succeeds, MFS would become only the second team in the 14-year history of the competition to win three consecutive championships. Pemberton won in six of the first seven years, and five in a row from 2002-2006. The other teams scheduled to compete are: Burlington County Alternative School, Burlington City, Burlington Township, Cherokee, Cinnaminson, Lenape, Palmyra, Pemberton, Rancocas Valley, Seneca and Shawnee.
