SOUTH JERSEY -- A local high school teacher was arrested and charged after allegedly exposing his genitals to a child under the age of 13 Friday, Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk and Cherry Hill Police Chief Richard DelCampo announced Monday. Jules Gross, 48, of Maple Shade, a Spanish teacher at Cherry Hill East, exposed himself in the Auto Care Center at the Walmart on Route 38 in Cherry Hill Friday, police said. He was charged Monday with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child, police said, and was released on a summons. Victor Godoy, 77, was found after a search late Saturday night.
An elderly nursing home patient who went missing Saturday evening was found less than seven hours later in Voorhees, Cherry Hill Police said. Victor Godoy, 77, made it to a family member's home, police said, and was taken to Kennedy University Hospital for evaluation just after midnight. Godoy, who has dementia, left Alaris Health at 1417 Brace Road around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, police said, prompting a search of the area. Godoy had been seen walking north on Brace Road toward the area of Kings Highway and Route 70, police said, and was later spotted at A & S Pizza, near the intersection of North Kings Highway and Ormand Avenue, around 8 p.m., police said. Cherry Hill Police say Eric R. Harbinson, of Mount Laurel, hit Rite Aid stores in the township twice in the last week.
A Mount Laurel man who allegedly flashed a gun while robbing Rite Aid stores twice in the last week was arrested Thursday, and now faces a slew of charges, Cherry Hill Police said. Eric R. Harbinson, 29, of the 4000 block of Burryport Way, allegedly hit the pharmacies on Jan. 31 and Feb. 4, flashing a gun tucked into his pants to clerks working the front registers, police said. Surveillance footage in the Jan. 31 robbery captured his distinctive black jacket, which was emblazoned with a skull and crossed revolvers on the back.
