Moorestown Men Nabbed in Booze-for-Minors Sting

Evesham Township's annual Cops in Shops program nets 10 arrests for underage possession and providing alcohol to underage people.

Two Moorestown men were among seven adults nabbed for alcohol violations in Evesham Township’s Cops in Shops program on Black Friday. Ferdinand Maloney, 22, was charged with providing alcohol to an underage person, while Alexander Julia, 20, was charged with underage possession of alcohol through the operation, according to police. Along with Maloney, Alexander Monczewski, 21, of Cherry Hill; Andreas Prinz, 25, of Marlton; and Steven Conroy, 21, Stratford, were also arrested and charged with providing alcohol to an underage person. Samuel Gasparre, 20, of Mount Laurel, and Joshua Pattani, 18, of Marlton, were also charged with underage possession, police said.  There were also three teens under the age of 18 charged with underage …

Marlton Men Arrested for Stealing $71K in Jewelry from Moorestown Home

The two men were contractors working at the home over the summer when they burglarized it.

A joint investigation between Moorestown and Evesham police led to the arrests of two Marlton men accused of stealing more than $71,000 worth of jewelry from a Moorestown home where they had been contracted to work this summer, police said. Moorestown Police Sgt. Lee Lieber said Joseph Lutz III, of Overington Avenue, Marlton, was arrested by Evesham Police Wednesday on an unrelated matter. During a subsequent investigation, Evesham Police learned Lutz and Christopher Fleury, who lives at the same address, had been responsible for a burglary at a home on the 800 block of Golf View Road, Lieber said. I believe the public should be informed as to know who this 'Pool Company' is who had these thieves employed. The company apparently didn't have proper supervision on this property while they were there working. It is an injustice to the public that the company's name not be reported in this Patch article.   more ›
