County Seeks Business Partners for Logo Contest

The county needs a new logo and Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly wants local businesses to help put together the prize money.

To the editor: Bolstering our Burlington County business community has been and will continue to be a major focus of county government. This will be evident in the coming weeks, as we partner with business organizations countywide on a “buy local” campaign to encourage residents to spend their consumer dollars in their own downtown areas. That said, today I am seeking business partners to work with us on another initiative—one that will showcase Burlington County’s historic, environmental, and of course, economic resources. County Seeks Students' Help with New Logo

Burlington County's logo will be getting a makeover with help from local high school students.

Creative high school students have a chance to become a part of Burlington County history. The county kicked off a new logo contest this week, and is seeking submissions from high school students. Students are asked to submit original designs for a new logo that will build upon the county’s new tagline: “South Jersey Starts Here.” The current logo, pictured here, depicts a covered wagon crossing a bridge. “Our county seal is a part of our history and will stay a part of the county, but we are looking for a logo that represents what is happening in the county now and also take us into the future,” said Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly.
