Moorestown First Responders Recognized for Sandy Service
Town council declared this week as “Emergency Personnel and First Responders Appreciation Week."
First responders typically go about their jobs with little fanfare or recognition, but town council took a moment to honor Moorestown’s emergency personnel Monday for their stellar service during Hurricane Sandy. “It is incredibly impressive, and the time and the dedication and commitment that each and every one of you give to each and every one of us is incredibly appreciated,” said Mayor John Button, before presenting each of the emergency response teams—police, fire and EMS, as well as public works—with proclamations.
