Server Sues Grand Lux Cafe Following Alleged Rape in Mt. Laurel

The victim claims a trainer for the restaurant drugged and raped her, then shared nude photos of her with coworkers.

A server at the Grand Lux Cafe at the Cherry Hill Mall has filed a lawsuit against the restaurant and its parent company, alleging sexual harassment by a trainer who she claims raped her in a Mount Laurel hotel, then shared a nude photo of her with other restaurant employees this summer. The assault, which the suit says was reported first to management, then police, allegedly occurred just days after the restaurant opened to the public in July, and involved a trainer the chain had flown in to help prepare the staff in advance of the opening. That trainer, Francis De Los Hoyos, was arrested by Coral Springs, FL police officers after Mount Laurel Police issued warrants in late August. He was charged with one count of aggravated sexual …

Mount Laurel Men Indicted for Sexual Assault

The two men allegedly assaulted a physically incapacitated teenager at a Mount Laurel hotel.

Two Mount Laurel men were indicted by a county grand jury for sexually assaulting a physically incapacitated 18-year-old female at a hotel last year, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi said this week.  Iric S. Cohen, 42, of Forrest Court in Mount Laurel, and Richard Trevor Hughes, 44, also of Forrest Court in Mount Laurel, were indicted on charges of first degree aggravated sexual assault; first degree conspiracy; first degree kidnapping; third degree invasion of privacy; third degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, namely Lorazepam; third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely Lorazepam; and third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, namely …
