Here's what's wrong with New Year's Eve: forced gaiety and amateur sots. Here's what's right about New Year's Eve: absolutely nothing. Yes, it's the beginning of the new year, a time to start fresh. But when did getting sloshed in tinsel tiaras and dorky hats become part of the celebration? You might be asking yourself, “Gosh! Personally, I think Moorestown would be a perfect spot for a First Night, with Main Street/Community House as the focal point. (I'm being a bit self-serving—it would be convenient for me, since I live within a 2-minute walk from downtown.) Perhaps it could even be tied in to fundraising for the Community House in some way.
