Kids Valentines to Print from the Nature Conservancy

The national organization, which has offices in north and south Jersey, is offering these educational freebies for parents and kids.

Moms and dads on the go, here's a make-and-take freebie you can do with your school-age kids for Valentine's Day. Just download the PDF above, print it, cut them out and fold it over (click here if you're having trouble). (The sheet even includes the elusive Teacher Valentine for the hard-working folks at Sharp, Zane North, Newbie, Garfield, Tatem). These are provided by the nonprofit Nature Conservancy, which has Jersey roots in Chester and Delmont.

Library Offering Valentine's Crafts for Kids

Children will have the chance to make their own Valentine's Day cards at the Moorestown Library. Read on to find out when to bring them by.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and in addition to your own card and gift shopping, your child probably has a pretty hefty list of people who deserve a little love this Valentine’s seasons. Before you head out to the store, head over to the Moorestown Library, where children can make their own one-of-a-kind Valentines for everyone on their list. Just drop into the Children’s Room between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. this Saturday, Feb. 9, or Monday, Feb. 11, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Your children will find a smorgasbord of Valentine craft supplies, including construction paper, doilies, stickers, markers and more.
