Abul Bashar was arrested last week and charged with criminal sexual contact, Mount Laurel Police said.
A Brooklyn man was arrested after he inappropriately touched a coworker at a business on Route 38, police said. Mount Laurel Police arrested Abul Bashar, 36, of Foster Avenue, on May 8 on a charge of criminal sexual contact, as well as possession of a fraudulent government document (Social Security card), according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and lodged in Burlington County Jail after failing to post $7,000 bail. Information provided by Mount Laurel Police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Mount Laurel Police arrest a New York woman for engaging in prostitution at the J.J. Whitehorse Spa on Church Road, according to a report.
A Mount Laurel massage parlor was shut down Tuesday after authorities allegedly discovered prostitution was going on at the establishment. Mount Laurel Police said they conducted a two-week investigation into prostitution at the J.J. Whitehorse Spa, on the 4200 block of Church Road, culminating in the arrest of Young Ok Park, 46, of the 15000 block of Peck Avenue, Flushing, NY, for engaging in prostitution. Police arrested Park at the spa Tuesday, during the execution of a search warrant. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a court hearing. The spa is currently closed. A Cherry Hill man who was the wheelman in the violent robbery of a cabdriver in Mount Laurel will spend 15 years in prison for his crimes, the Burlington County Times reported Friday. Miguel Mercado, 23, of the 2900 block of Chapel Avenue, was one of four defendants in the case, all accused of attacking and robbing cabdriver Joseph Dominguez, who had his throat slashed for a mere $40 in the Jan. 20, 2012 incident. While Mercado didn’t wield the knife, he was a participant in the attack, prosecutors said, and took the wheel of the cab after Dominguez ran to get help, eventually crashing the car into a tree. Mount Laurel Police are looking for a trio of men who allegedly tried to use a stolen credit card to make a purchase at the Cherry Hill Mall. Police said the three suspects (pictured at right, captured from security camera footage) entered a store at the mall at 8:30 p.m. March 29 and attempted to use the stolen card. The card was stolen from a home on the 100 block of Saxony Drive in a burglary that occurred the afternoon of March 29, according to police. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is urged to call the Mount Laurel Police Detective Bureau at 856-234-1414, ext. 1526.

Mount Laurel Police say they gave a township man a ride—and he wasn't particularly grateful.
He could have just said "Thank you." Mount Laurel Police say they arrested a township man for allegedly attacking two officers after they gave him a ride home earlier this week. Police say they were called to the Lukoil station on Route 73 Tuesday for a report of an intoxicated disorderly person. Officers came across Gary F. Piserchia, 56, of the unit block of Edinburgh Lane, and gave him a ride back to his house. Once they arrived at his residence, police say Piserchia became disorderly, resisted arrest and assaulted the officers while being taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated. Piserchia was committed to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $12,000 …
