Snow Still Coming—But How Much?

The National Weather Service says South Jersey can still expect up to 4 inches Friday.

Get ready for some "fluffy" snow, Moorestown. While the forecast has changed a bit since earlier this week, it still looks like South Jersey will get some snow beginning Friday afternoon. As of Wednesday at 5 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly was calling for the storm to drop between 1 and 4 inches of snow in Burlington and Camden counties. "It looks to us like it's going to snow," NWS meteorologist Walter Drag said. "We just don't know how much yet. It looks to us like somewhere in the 1- to 4-inch range." The snow, which Drag described as "fluffy," is expected to start Friday afternoon and last through Friday night. Moorestown Could See 2 Inches of Snow Saturday

National Weather Service meteorologists are tracking a snowstorm heading our way this weekend.

Moorestown can expect its second snowfall of the season this weekend, with one to two inches of the white stuff forecast to fall as a weather system makes its way here Saturday. Meteorologist Mitchell Gaines, with the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, said parts of southeastern Burlington County can expect a coating but other parts of the county could get a few inches. In some parts of the county, that snow will change over to rain from late morning to late afternoon. It should end in the early evening. However, Moorestown shouldn't see that rain. The temperature will be in the low 30s Saturday morning and rise to the upper 30s in the afternoon. The precipitation should clear up by Sunday with mostly sunny skies and breezy …
