Last week we told you about an upcoming opportunity to learn more about e-readers here at the Moorestown Library. We’re now ready to welcome you to come and meet the e-readers! From 1-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, Moorestown Library is kicking off its Technology Petting Zoo. If you’re thinking about buying an e-book reader or tablet, come to the library to try them out and compare their features before you buy. Library staff will be on hand to demonstrate how to download free e-books to iPads, Kindles, a Nook and a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Are you on the fence about buying an e-reader? Have you decided to invest in an e-reader, but aren’t sure which one is best to meet your needs? Fear not, the Moorestown Library can help. From now through Nov. 14, thanks to a grant program from the New Jersey State Library, the library has created a “Technology Petting Zoo” to give you the opportunity to see and try out some of the most popular e-reader devices and tablets on the market. These devices are available for you to use in the library during regular operating hours.
