Township officials are discussing the possibility of installing a crosswalk on Second Street to improve pedestrian safety by the town hall construction site after hearing complaints from disgruntled library patrons. Visitors to the library have been parking in the municipal lot across the street since Sambe Construction erected fences around the entire municipal complex lot last month. Technically, they're supposed to walk to the light at Church and Second streets and cross at the crosswalk, but most have been crossing Second directly from the lot, putting them at greater risk to traffic.
