A gifted medium, yogi, teacher and spiritual guide, Alaine Portner has been making a difference in the lives of the community for the past 30 years. Her ability to engage others with compassion, humor and straight-to-the-heart insight has provided her with a loyal following. Her vision is to assist all of her students, both male and female, in discovering their own physical and spiritual energy through yoga, meditation, insight and exercise. During the course of her professional journey, she has finely tuned her ability as a medium and then fused it with her love of meditation to offer a unique and transformative experience.

<b>Beyond Messages</b>

Alaine has carried the gift of mediumship throughout her life and her love of blending the physical world with the transcendent one has brought her along the path toward mastering all forms of yoga, meditation and exercise. Alaine receives great pride in teaching physical and mental balance through postures, breathing, and meditation, as well as in her spiritual channeling sessions. She has an extensive background in physical science and spiritual studies with a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University. Prompted by a vivid message, Alaine opened her own Yoga Center on September 9, 2001, two days prior to the horrific events of 9/11, extraordinarily making her unique blend of yoga, exercise and spiritual exploration a true center for community healing.

In the years since, Alaine has built her Yoga Center of Medford into a regional nexus for those seeking to mend, learn and grow more fit as they journey along their life’s path. At the Center, built upon her heartdriven style, participants enjoy pilates, Barre, yoga meditation, andspiritual community gatherings – as well as Alaine’s special channeling sessions.

In addition to her Center, Alaine also leads retreats to inspirational national and international locales to explore the physical and metaphysical lessons that are there for each of us to encounter.
